BACKGROUND
 

HOWARD D. AVRUTINE has practiced law since 1983 after graduation from St. John's University School of Law. Since 1988, he has concentrated primarily in the areas of zoning, land use and municipal law as well as general real estate law and related litigation. Having developed extensive experience dealing with numerous municipalities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Mr. Avrutine is well-known and respected in the fields of zoning, land use and municipal law.

After successful affiliations with the zoning and land use law firms of Cohn, Rosenthal & Avrutine, and Goldstein & Avrutine, Mr. Avrutine established Avrutine & Associates, PLLC in March 2011.
